Growing success
Generics producer Egis Pharmaceutical plc is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in central Europe. Seventy per cent of the company’s HUF 93 million turnover is achieved by European sales while the firm is the fifth largest pharmaceutical company in Hungary acquiring 5.5 per cent market shares. In addition to the Hungarian market, Egis strategically targets Russia and the CIS countries and eastern Europe for sales. Edina Beale talks to CFO László Marosffy to find out more.
