Truma Products Receive Awards
A double award: Two new Truma products, the rooftop air conditioning system Aventa eco and the gas filling level display LevelCheck, won the reputed caravanning design award. In cooperation with reddot GmbH, the Düsseldorf exhibition awards this design prize every two years to products displayed at the Caravan Salon that clearly stand out from the competition. The Truma products impressed the jury of caravanning and design experts: The Aventa eco was nominated for its appealing design, the LevelCheck for its special design performance in terms of form and function. “These prizes once again underscore the fact that we not only design functional but also beautiful products,” says Axel Schulz, head of the product centre at Truma, who accepted the design prizes on 25th August 2012.

92 designs from nine countries took part in the competition. The winning products were presented in a photo exhibition at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf and online at www.caravaning-award.de.

Microsite for the Truma S-heater
Legendary and now even better: the new Truma S-heaters S 3004 and S 5004 set new standards in terms of operating comfort, warm air distribution and design. Visitors can not only experience the heaters first hand at the Truma stand at the Caravan Salon (hall 13/C31), but also at the new microsite www.truma-s-heater.com. This site is solely dedicated to the new product and offers a colourful mix of information and entertainment. Internet visitors can watch various animated films to find out why the S 3004 and the S 5004 ensure more comfort and convenience in the caravan during the day and night. You can also “try out” the heaters, the touch-sensor illumination and the new chimney fire.

A timeline provides an overview of the success story of the Truma S-heaters and shows the most important steps along its history since it was invented in 1961 until the present day. The technical data also allows quick comparisons of the S 3004 and the S 5004. Visitors to the microsite in the Internet can also read customer reviews of the Truma heaters and the service. Imtradex with a positive outcome at the TETRA World Congress 2012
The numbers speak for themselves: 2950 visitors and a total of 106 different exhibitors make the TETRA World Congress 2012 in Dubai, the most successful event in the history of digital trade show. Among the highlights of this exhibition were the headsets from Imtradex Hör-/Sprechsysteme GmbH. From the 15th to the 17th of May, Imtradex presented their innovative products to many visitors from the booth B101. It became clear: Imtradex is well prepared for the demands of the digital radio age. In particular, the hand microphones Aurelis Bluetooth and Aurelis Nexus aroused great interest along with the OnGuard Bluetooth.

The OnGuard Bluetooth was designed specifically for use in undercover investigations and with an unobtrusive headset it connects via Bluetooth to a mobile phone, which the investigator carry. ""The wireless design, the inductive Neckloop, the induction receiver RS7 and with a silent sending button, the device is absolutely predestined for the covert operation,"" explains Ralf Kudernak, managing director of Imtradex Hör- /Sprechsysteme GmbH. For the success at the trade fair in Dubai showed also the high suitability that the product have: A wireless transmitter button ensures that it can be hidden for use in the hand. By pressing a button, calls can be assumed, be initiated or terminated. In the case of normal use the battery only need replacement once a year and can be replaced by the user himself.

Also convincing was the hand microphones from the Aurelis series, specifically designed for modern digital radio systems. Above all, the Aurelis Bluetooth: The wireless handheld microphone placed with its innovative and high quality Equipment set new standards of communication and security. It includes a transmit button, a microphone, high-quality speakers, an emergency button, a three-level volume control, a two-color LED and a connector for external audio equipment. Like all Aurelis hand microphones it also has a very robust, splashproof plastic housing. Depending on the digital radio it is possible to integrate different data applications.

In Dubai Imtradex presented the newest products within the Aurelis family: The Aurelis Nexus. The Aurelus Nexus is an evolution of the successful Aurelis base. An integrated Nexus jack in this model, makes it compatibility with all major headsets and InEar-Headets also from other companies. ""Currently, the Aurelis Nexus is indeed only available for the Sepura STP8000, but the great demand at this year TETRA World Congress confirmed the already existing plan, to produce the model for all other wireless devices,"" said Ralf Kudernak.

Barry Callebaut and Unilever sign long-term partnership agreement
Barry Callebaut AG, the world's leading manufacturer of high-quality cocoa and chocolate products and Unilever, one of the world's foremost consumer goods companies and global market leader in ice cream, have announced the signing of a new long-term global partnership agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Barry Callebaut will become Unilever's strategic global supplier and innovation partner of choice for its cocoa and chocolate needs.

This new global supply agreement builds on the existing long-standing working relationship and will nearly double Barry Callebaut's current volumes with Unilever. Ultimately Barry Callebaut will provide 70% of Unilever's global cocoa and chocolate products. This will be achieved under a wide-ranging joint business development plan involving close co-operation across the areas of innovation, sustainable sourcing, capacity expansion and value improvement.

Kevin Havelock, President of Unilever's Refreshment Category, said: ""Our Ice Cream category has a significant role to play in Unilever's sustainable growth model to deliver our ambition of doubling the size of our business whilst reducing our environmental impact. Our leadership position has been built on great taste, innovation and increasingly sustainable ingredients. We need partners like Barry Callebaut to help us extend this position and achieve our overall aim.""

As a result of the agreement, Barry Callebaut will invest approximately CHF 22 million (EUR 18 million / USD 24 million) in its worldwide factory network in order to prepare the capacity required to fulfill the long-term partnership agreement. The additional volumes have a ramp-up period of 12 months, starting immediately.

This agreement is based on a successful long-standing collaboration between our two companies. Barry Callebaut has also been working closely with Unilever to meet its sustainable cocoa sourcing commitments.
